RYKHO’s 2020 follow up single “Without You” poised to make major noise on the international dance floors
"RYKHO" - aka Friedrick Ryan Po - is a Canadian recording artist who has been steadily making waves on the international club dance scene over the last few years. In 2019, he released his debut single "Can't Do Loving You" which peaked at #6 in the UK’s Music Week chart.
Friedrick was born in the Philippines and moved to the Canadian west coast at an early age. As a teen he gravitated towards the stage as a performer and was later cast in a number of Broadway theatrical productions in Vancouver. His vocal training was honed by one of Vancouver's finest coaches Sandi Siemins (Michael Bublé) and he slowly developed his signature style being influenced by acts such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, Prince, and the Backstreet Boys.
In 2015 under the guise "Friedrick Ryan", he began his artistic journey through collaborating with prolific Canadian songwriters Aileen De La Cruz (Cymba Music) and Stef Lang (DYLN, Nettwerk Music group) and top Canadian producers B.Morales (Craig Smart) and Murray Daigle (Serena Ryder, Neverest). Releases included the explosive dance anthems 'Love On the Dance Floor', 'All Over Again' and 'Glow' which were blessed with remixes by top UK Deep House act DASCO and acclaimed House remixer Eric Kupper. The "Friedrick Ryan" tracks reached top 30 status in the Music Worx Top 100 International Dance Chart and Top 10 status in the US Starfleet Dance/Crossover charts.
In 2019, Friedrick continued to evolve his sound further into the dance/EDM/house realm by collaborating with the talented team at Audiofreaks. The result is the latest evolution into the artist now known as "RYKHO". Following the success of his debut single "Can't Do Loving You" reaching top 10 status in the UK Music Week chart, he immediately got back to work teaming with the legendary Soulshaker to craft a powerful follow up dance anthem “Without You”. With remixes by the incredible Andy Galea, FerKKo, and A Journey by a DJ, RYKHO’s new single has begun it's ascent in the club circuit and has already charted at #4 in the UK Music Week Club Charts.
